Around Klewel conference webcast solutions

The Idiap Research Institute (acknowledgement to Alexandre Nanchen) has recently developed a technology to localize, detect and recognize text in videos based on Optical Character Recognition. A project has been conducted on Canal9 local Swiss video channel. An application helps to make a search online based on the discussed topic or speaker name. Klewel provides the associated service.

Il est désormais possible de retrouver sur Internet l’intervention orale d’un député au Grand Conseil valaisan. La société Klewel, basée à Martigny et spécialisée dans l’intelligence artificielle, a développé un moteur de recherche qui ressemble à un “Google audiovisuel”.
