Klewel back from IBC 2011 international tradeshow

September 16th, 2011 No comments

We (Klewel team) participated to IBC 2011 in Amsterdam, the major European tradeshow in the audiovisual and broadcast industry.

This is a picture taken by Alexander Kahlert at our booth 4.C85:

Maxime Monod, Maël Guillemot and Vincent Bozzo

IBC is a very important event in the audiovisual world: there are 13 halls, and all the big players are there: Sony, Canon, Grass Valley, Motorola, Kudelsky NagraVision, Philips, Black Magic, AVID, Adobe, and many more including Klewel and MWA (partner of our office neighbours Cinetis – Bolex digital here in Switzerland). The halls span from capture, content management to delivery. We were in the delivery space although we are also active in the capture and management parts.

Impressive numbers: by 16:00 Tuesday 50,462 people had attended IBC, a new record and a rise of 4% over 2010. This was the first year we attended the show as exhibitors. Over the last four years, we mainly attended tradeshows for the international event industry: IMEX, EIBTM, ICCA congress, AIPC congress. Now that we are launching our new product Triskel, we are starting to target audiovisual production companies, audiovisual system integrators and distributors.

This is the poster of our new product Triskel:

Your event online, secured or/and on DVDs

January 17th, 2011 No comments

Klewel provides solutions to play back, search and browse the content of your conference online as well as on DVDs. The same features are available to search, browse and playback thanks to the Flash technology. Note that these are DVD data for computers. DVD video for DVD players can also be requested but do not offer the search feature.

A couple of our customers ask us to make DVDs after their event in order to sell them to the participants and those who could not attend it.

Below are a couple of examples of DVDs:

Project 2048 and the International Convention on Human Rights

December 21st, 2010 No comments

Following the one day conference (see the full video content with all the debates here), a couple of interviews of experts in the domain were recorded on December 10, 2010.

Video Interview of Mrs Nicola Furey, vice-president and secretary general of the EarthFocus Foundation:

Interview of four young students from the Kenyan Aga Khan Academy:

Links to other interviews:

In 1948 the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a deeply inspiring document that has been translated into over 300 languages and dialects. But because its provisions are not enforceable, its promise has not been fulfilled. Human rights violations continue in every corner of the globe, the cause of countless individual tragedies as well as large-scale disasters like war, poverty and environmental ruin.

EarthFocus organized this conference in Geneva on the 10th of December 2010. You can watch the video of the full conference by clicking on the image below:
