March 25th, 2009 No comments

Following a request from David Orban, a new video (in Italian) has been placed on Klewel platform.

Prof. Giovanni Degli Antoni, Department of Computer Sciences, University Of Milano (Italy).

This talk was given at a conference that was held to honor the life and works of Giovanni Degli Antoni, who practically created IT in Italy. He was the first to open a Cybernetics department at the faculty of Physics, and after that to establish the Computer Science department as an independent entity. Now he is 73, and about to retire. It has been calculated that 5 Universities, and over 10 departments have been founded by students of his, on top of countless companies too.
