Klewel @ EPFL | ARCHIZOOM

“Las Vegas Studio: Images From the Archives of Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown”
exhibition design at Archizoom by Youri Kravtchenko
In partnership with the Swiss and international hospitality industry, the world’s first hotel school prepares the leaders of tomorrow. Their philosophy of learning, combining experience and discovery, leads to the mastery of the arts and sciences of hospitality management. EHL chooses Klewel to record and webcast their Information session.
EHL welcomes future students to visit and learn about their academic programmes, student life and career prospects. As indicated on the website, “The EHL talent profile“, Hospitality offers great opportunities. But it is not for everyone. Students need a special combination of talents to succeed in this complex and dynamic environment. On the one hand, students are running a successful business and need hard business skills and know-how. On the other, students are dealing with intangibles as they create magical experiences for their clients and they need both relationship and artistic skills.
Information session in video:
The activities for this event include:
• Programme information and admission procedures presentations
• A tour of the campus, guided by EHL ambassadors, a group of highly motivated and enthusiastic students willing to share their experiences and knowledge of EHL
• Cocktail with EHL Admissions Officers
Fresh 2012: Experience the future of meeting effectiveness
As a member of the Meeting Support Institute, Klewel decided to support and webcast FRESH 2012. FRESH 2012 is the first conference that focuses on the design and execution of the content side conferences and meetings for better performance.
If you want a ticket for that event, feel free to contact us: contact at klewel.com.
What is the underlying idea behind the FRESH concept? This is explained by Maarten Vanneste: Conferences should engage participants to DO something, so they need to be exciting, clear, interactive, innovative, high quality and most of all, based on clear and measurable objectives. Nowadays, most conferences are not at all that exciting so they need to be re-FRESH-ed.
FRESH will apply latest formats, demonstrate the latest techniques, flirt with science and showcase the latest technology that makes meetings better in order to deliver maximum results and ROI.
FRESH will therefore get best practice speakers that will introduce change, stage cool actors with a message, pioneer educational entertainment and more than ever involve the participants in engaging collaboration and co-creation.
FRESH stands for new, innovative and creative: a FRESH start for conferences and meetings and a fresh wind blowing through the meetings industry.

ITS 2011: Klewel client testimonial – témoignage client
Gérald Imfeld, Chairman of the ITS foundation (International Tourism Symposium) explains us his experience with Klewel (you can put the captions in English).
Transcription translated in English:
This is an honour to be here. This is one of the most and I attend a lot of conferences world over
and I can tell you that This is one of the most prestigious and most important conference that I attend It is an honour for us to begin the panel discussion…
As agreed, let’s have a interactive debriefing session together. I sent you the link In a nutshell, what do you think of this result.
Well, it gives me great pleasure to hear Michael Berry who is perhaps the most competent person in the world in the tourism field to say what he just said about the symposium it only strengthens my conviction that we must use these interventions, there are more than thirty because it’s an international event it might also be interesting to try to put the translations if available.
Yes it is possible with the agreement of interpreters, the content was recorded in English, French and German so if you want we can put the translation channels online
I totally think it’s a good decision, we did not do it last year. I think this gives more visibility now.
So now in terms communication in the short term and long term, how you see the future of this event?
I think we now have, with these interviews, speeches, round tables, a powerful promotional tool which shows the level and positions the symposium I think this will allow us to continue our internationnal approach. We had maybe a good idea by bringing a few years ago North America
we now involved China, Japan. We put great emphasis on social networks. I think we are now ready to prepare for next year and give a real international dimension to this event.
So it’s really open for next year.
Yes it is a very powerful tool.
In any case thank you for this good work.
thank you very much.
